Outboard motors stolen from boats in Beccles

Outboard motors have been stolen from two boats moored at Beccles.

A Suzuki 15 horsepower four-stroke engine was stolen from a boat at a mooring on the River Waveney while a Mercury outboard was taken from a motor cruiser moored at Beccles Quay at Fen Lane.

The first was taken between 10am on Tuesday and 10am Thursday, with the second between Wednesday and Thursday.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area, or anyone with information about who took the engines or where they are now, is asked to call the Beccles & Bungay Safer Neighbourhood Team on 101.
