A late-night vandalism spree saw ten cars and a building in Swaffham damaged in the space of an hour last Friday.

Police last night told town councillors that wing mirrors and windscreens were damaged between midnight and 1am on Friday January 4.

A spokesman said an 18-year-old man from the Swaffham area had been arrested and been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

A second 18-year-old man from the Swaffham area had been spoken to by police as part of the investigation and a vehicle seized.
