The jury in the trial of two women accused of torturing and killing a former bus conductor in his own home has visited the scene today.
The body of 67-year-old Barry Reeve was discovered by officers at his home at Corton Road, off City Road, Norwich on February 26 last year, two weeks after it was said he was attacked.
Kelly Louise Barnes, 32, and Jodie Barnes, formerly Ramsbottom, 31, of Bixley Close, Norwich, are on trial at Norwich Crown Court accused of the murder of the former Eastern Counties Buses worker.
Both deny murdering Mr Reeve who was known as Titch or Schweppes to his friends.
The crisp white stuff which had fallen on Norwich, and the rest of the region at the start of the week, still lay all around this morning.
A lone police car parked outside Clyffe Cottages was all that gave an indication of anything untoward having happened.
Otherwise Corton Road, like the roads around it looked more like a Christmas card scene than a murder scene.
Nevertheless that is exactly what the eight women and four men of the jury were shown after they arrived on a minibus at just before 11am.
The size of the property meant jurors entered the bungalow in pairs during the morning with all 12 heading back onto the minibus at just after 12.10pm.
Before heading back to court the jury were given the chance to see the ATM at the Sainsbury's filling station on Queen's Road where the defendants tried to use Mr Reeve's card before being picked up by a taxi.
Once back at court the jury heard the prosecution read out interviews police conducted with Kelly Barnes after she was arrested in relation to the offence much of which she answered no comment.
The trial continues.
