A 50-year-old Norwich man is due to stand trial at Norwich Crown Court later this month on a series of rape and sex assault charges which are alleged to have happened over a five day period.
Gary Nathan, of Pottergate, Norwich, has denied rape, causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent and sexual assaults in Norwich. All the offences are alleged to have occurred between May 5 to 10 this year.
Nathan is due to stand trial on December 13 and his case was listed for a short hearing at Norwich Crown Court at which he appeared via video link from Belmarsh Prison, where he is currently being held on remand.
Lori Tucker appeared for the prosecution and Matthew McNiff appeared at the hearing on behalf of Nathan.
Judge Stephen Holt further remanded Nathan in custody until he appears for his trial at the crown court.
