A 40-year-old Norwich man is due in court later this month after being charged with 11 counts of making an indecent image of a child following a National Crime Agency (NCA) operation in October last year.

Ben Adams, 40 of Cadge Road, Norwich, will appear at Norwich Magistrates Court on Friday, April 25 after being arrested as part of the operation which saw warrants executed across Norfolk, Suffolk Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.

In all 24 people were arrested on suspicion of being involved in the distribution of indecent images of children.

Liam Dyker, 23 of St Aubyns Court, London Road South, Lowestoft has been charged with 11 counts of making an indecent image of a child, four counts of possessing indecent images of children, and one count of possession of indecent images of children with a view to them being distributed.

He appeared before Lowestoft Magistrates Court earlier this month and has been committed to Ipswich Crown Court for sentence on May 1 after indicating guilty pleas to all charges. He has been granted conditional bail.

Meanwhile a spokesman for Norfolk police confirmed two other men arrested in connection with the NCA warrants remain on police bail.
