Motorists are being urged to remove valuables and make sure cars are locked after a number of break-ins.

On January 12 thieves stole a bluetooth phone control screen from a black VW Polo parked outside the Woolpack in Muspole Street.

On Sunday, an open Peugeot 306 was entered and a Sony radio/cd player and sunglasses were stolen at the Cherry Tree Pub on Dereham Road at about 9.30pm.

A man was seen acting suspiciously in the area with a torch at the time.

On January 9 in Sunningdale a bag containing a loaf of bread was stolen from a VW Polo and on Saturday January 4 a flue gas analyser and electrical tester was stolen from a Fiat Doblo van in Welsford Road.

Police are urging drivers to make sure cars and vans are locked and to report any sightings of people peering into cars or trying door handles.
