North Walsham man charged with theft of £800,000 after investigation into his job with Norwich firm

A North Walsham man has been charged with the theft of almost £800,000 following an investigation into his employment with a wills, probate and inheritance services company in Norwich.

Peter Jones, 52 has been charged with theft of the credit balances, two counts of fraud, and false accounting after Heritage Legal and Financial Limited raised concerns about irregular business activity in a former director’s accounts to Norfolk police in February 2013.

Jones, of Kings Arms Street, is due before Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Monday, April 14.
