A Norfolk police sergeant has shared some pictures of officers being put through their paces at a public order training course.
Mark Shepherd is a community sergeant for the Norwich East Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) but is also a publlic order tactical advisor.
Sgt Shepherd has been involved in helping to train officers from Norfolk and Suffolk as part of a 'public order (PSU) novice course' over the past few days.
During the training Sgt Shepherd has tweeted some pictures and videos from the course which saw officers using riot shields and having to tackle situations which included being confronted with fire.
Sgt Shepherd has used his Twitter account to keep followers up to date with their training.
Tweets have included: 'Some more footage from the @NorfolkPolice @SuffolkPolice public order (PSU) novice course.
Yes that's me as angry man.'
