A new police inspector has been appointed to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour in two towns.

Insp Terry Lordan has taken over from Insp Adam Hayes for the Safer Neighbourhood Teams in Thetford and Attleborough.

He said: ”I am looking forward to continuing the great work of Insp Adam Hayes and building my links within the community so we can make a positive difference to people’s lives.”

“I started my career on the beat in Thetford, so I know the community well and look forward to serving local people in the future and working with partnership agencies to problem solve and further reduce crime.”

Insp Lordan has also worked in the force contact and control room for almost two years, managing officers in emergencies in response to calls from the public. Most recently he has been inspector for Dereham and Swaffham.

To contact a member of the team email or for further information about policing activities call 101.
