One of Farnaz Ali’s neighbours has described how “all hell broke loose” on the day her body was discovered.

The man, who wanted to remain anonymous, said he became aware of lots of noise on the Friday, July 28 last year.

He said he then saw Williams walk past his window with someone, who he thought to be Ms Ali, while holding what he thought was a bin bag.

The next day the man saw a workman arrive at Williams’ flat, where work was being done to the property.

He said the workman knocked on the door but could not get in.

He said he “stood there on his mobile” before “all hell broke loose” and police later arrived with a battering ram and “smashed the door through”.

The man said more police then arrived and paramedics which made him realise something awful had happened.

He added: “She was a lovely person. I really feel sorry for her.”
