Officers were speaking to the occupants of the vehicle in a supermarket car park on Monday evening and subsequently seized a quantity of white powder.

The pair, a 50 year old from Gorleston and a 32 year old from Great Yarmouth - were both initially arrested on suspicion of possession of a class A drug and taken into custody, after the find in the vehicle.

Further searches were then carried out at other addresses linked to the men and cash, white powder and wraps of what is believed to be cocaine were found at a property in Gorleston.

Both men were interviewed on suspicion of possession of cocaine with intent to supply and the 32 year old was also questioned about driving a vehicle whilst unfit through drugs.

They have been bailed to return to police on February 24, pending further enquiries.
