A man has been arrested after a late-night incident in Norwich saw a man taken to hospital with a stab wound to his forearm on Friday.

An ambulance was called to Magpie Road at 11pm, outside the Dehli Spice takeaway, in the north of the city.

An East of England Ambulance Service Trust spokesman confirmed a 25-year-old man was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital as his blood-loss was heavier than expected.

The spokesman also confirmed the man’s injuries were not life-threatening.

While a Norfolk Constabulary spokesman confirmed a man was arrested in connection with the incident.
