A VISITOR to Great Yarmouth sustained horrific facial injuries after he was assaulted in a robbery.

The victim, who was in his 60s, was visiting the town from his home in the north east when he was assaulted and had his mobile phone stolen.

The attack happened at around 10.45pm on Tuesday, July 24 in Wellesley Road.

Police have since released images of the visitor’s injuries as well as a CCTV still of a man they want to talk to.

Officers would like to talk to speak to the man in the CCTV image (pictured right) as they believe he may be able to assist with their inquiries.
