Man robbed in Thorpe Hamlet

Police are appealing for information after a man’s wallet and mobile phone were stolen during a robbery in Thorpe Hamlet.

It happened on Wolfe Road at the junction with Quebec Road, off Kett’s Hill, at around 12.30am on Monday, December 3.

The victim tried to befriend a drunken man before assaulting him and stealing his mobile phone and wallet. The offender then ran off.

Officers want to speak to anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area at this time.
