Man kicked in the face during Thetford assault

A man was attacked from behind and kicked in the face during an assault in Thetford.

Detectives are appealing for information following the incident that happened on Wednesday, November 21 between 9.45am and 10.15am on Canon’s Close, near the shops.

A 22-year-old man was struck on the head from behind and kicked in the face. He was taken to the West Suffolk hospital for treatment to facial and head injuries and was released the following day.

There is no description of the attacker.
