Man jailed for growing cannabis plants at his Norwich home

18:34 24 November 2012

A man who was found growing 29 young cannabis plants at his home in Norwich has been jailed.

Danny Feavyer, 32, was growing the plants in an upstairs bedroom at his home in Roe Drive when police searched his home in May this year, Norwich Crown Court heard.

Feavyer admitted production of cannabis and was jailed for 13 months.

The court heard he had previous convictions for cannabis use and growing plants.

Jailing him, Judge Nicholas Coleman told Feavyer that he had a problem with cannabis but accepted it was “small scale production.”

Guy Ayers, for Feavyer, said he was now in a new relationship and had moved away from cannabis.
