A householder suffered bruising and swelling after being punched in the face during an aggravated burglary on the outskirts of Wymondham.
Detectives are appealing for information following the incident that happened shortly before midnight last night when three men entered a property on Green Lane and demanded cash from the householder.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was assaulted during the incident, suffering bruising and swelling after being punched in the face. The offenders stole a PSP, mixing deck and keys before fleeing the scene.
Investigating officer, Det Con Graham Finney, from Norwich CID, said: “While the investigation is in the early stages, our enquiries are focused on this being a targeted incident as opposed to a random attack.”
A description for the three men has not yet been provided by the police.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed three men acting suspiciously in the area on Sunday night or the early hours of today.
Witnesses are asked to contact Det Con Finney at Norwich CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
