A man was left with injuries to his chest and head following an attempted robbery in Dereham.

Police say the owner of a property on Shipdham Road disturbed two men who made verbal threats towards him before assaulting him after he refused to hand over his car keys.

Officers from Thetford CID are appealing for witnesses to the incident which took place between 10pm and 10.30pm on Wednesday, June 11.
