Man in hospital with serious head injuries after Norwich pub fight

A man was taken to hospital with serious head injuries after he was knocked unconscious during a fight in a Norwich pub.
Norfolk police were called to reports of a disturbance at the Prince of Wales pub in Norwich’s Prince of Wales Road at 7pm.
The man who was knocked out was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with head injuries following the fracas.
Following treatment, his injuries are not thought to be life threatening, police said.
A woman was also assaulted during the fight and was also taken to the Colney hospital. She had suffered head and facial injuries.
Norfolk police confirmed that a man had been arrested in connection with the assaults, but urged any witnesses who have not already spoken to officers to contact them by calling 101.
