A 30-year-old man has been charged with two counts of rape following an incident at a music event in Great Yarmouth last weekend.

Paul Gigg, of Highwoods, Colchester, Essex, will appear at Great Yarmouth magistrates’ court tomorrow.

The charges relate to an incident which happened at the Vauxhall Holiday Park in the early hours of Saturday, October 20, during the three-day Kiss Weekender event.

A 20-year-old man, from Manningtree, Essex, was earlier arrested and released without charge.

Following the incident, police carried out on-site enquiries as well as speaking to local residents door to door.
