A King’s Lynn man has been charged in connection with an incident in the town on Friday evening which involved armed police.
Gediminas Bubelis, 24, from Stonegate Street, has been charged with two counts of assault by beating, one count of theft from another person and one count of damaging a gas boiler with the intent to endanger life.
Bubelis has been remanded in custody and is due at King’s Lynn Magistrates Court this morning.
A police spokesman said: “We would once again like to thank the local community for their patience and assistance with this matter.”
Terrorism returned to the streets of London today as two suspected Muslim fanatics butchered a man in broad daylight in the name of “Allah”.
