A man has been charged following the discovery of a suspicious device in Buxton at the weekend

A 49-year-old man has been charged after a suspicious device was discovered under a car in Buxton on Sunday.
Jonathan Taylor, of Southwell Road, has been charged with “doing an act with intent to cause an explosion likely to endanger life/injure property under Section 31 of the Explosives Act”.
The charge relates to an incident which happened shortly after 11am on Sunday in Coltishall Road when a device was discovered underneath a car.
Taylor has been remanded in custody to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court this morning.
Two other men aged 25 and 35 arrested in connection with the incident have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in a garden pond today.
