A man was bitten on the hand by a black Staffordshire terrier type dog as he walked his own dog in a public field next to Marriott’s Way in Taverham.

He required hospital treatment and the Staffie also attacked his dog, which required veterinary treatment.

It happened at about 11pm on Monday, June 2.

Witnesses should call PC Jack Weaver at Aylsham police station on 101.
