Police are seeking witnesses after a 28-year-old man was robbed in an alleyway at the back of Kent Road in Lowestoft.
The incident happened about 4.40pm yesterday (Thursday, October 24). The 28-year-old told police he had been walking along the alleyway when he was approached by a man who asked him for money. He refused and started to walk away but was then assaulted, possibly by more than one attacker, and then had a quantity of cash taken from his wallet.
The man who approached him is described as white, in his late teens to early 30s, about 5ft 9ins tall, of slim build and was wearing jeans, a grey hooded top and a black scarf partially over his face.
Police would like to speak to anyone who was in the area around this time, regardless of whether you think you saw anything that may help, anyone who may have seen a man matching this description or anyone who may have information about the incident.
