A man was assaulted in the toilets at a takeaway in Norfolk Street, King’s Lynn.

The man, who is in his 20s, was in the Ali Mezes bar and grill at around 1.50am on Saturday, March 8 when a group of men and a woman entered the toilets after him.

An altercation broke out and one of the men assaulted him. He suffered a serious cut close to his eye which required hospital treatment.

His attacker was white, in his early 30s, about 5ft 8ins, with shortly cropped black hair. He was wearing a dark hooded top with white cords hanging from the front of the hood, blue jeans and trainers.

Officers want to speak to anyone who was in the restaurant at the time and may have witnessed this incident or saw the group beforehand or afterwards.
