A man has been arrested on suspicion of going equipped for theft in Norwich’s Golden Triangle after a call from an eagle-eyed member of the public.

Police were called to Unthank Road shortly before 8.30pm on Monday after they received a call a man had been seen acting suspiciously in a garden.

When police arrived they detained a man and found he was in possession of tools and wire.

The suspect was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre and questioned before being released on bail until May.
