We reported last month how a 69-year-old woman was threatened with a knife at The Press Club on Oak Street, at around 9.30am on Sunday, February 3.

She was a volunteer at the club and she twice refused to open the safe, despite being punched in the face.

She only relented her attacker jabbed her in the cheek with a blade.

Norfolk Police have now confirmed that a man in his 40s from the local area was arrested yesterday and released on police bail pending further inquiries.
