AN 18-YEAR-OLD man from Lowestoft has been arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis with intent to supply after police stopped a car in the town.
Officers were on routine patrol in Corton Road about 1.30am on Thursday (October 11) when a vehicle that appeared to have a defective headlight drove past them.
The Vauxhall car was stopped on Yarmouth Road and officers then smelt cannabis. The occupants and the vehicle were searched and bags containing cannabis, a box of cash and a set of scales were found.
The 18-year-old was arrested in connection with the find, and he has now been bailed to return to police on December 1.
Terrorism returned to the streets of London today as two suspected Muslim fanatics butchered a man in broad daylight in the name of “Allah”.
