Man appears in court over knifepoint raid on East Harling shop

A man has who been charged in connection with a robbery at a shop in East Harling has appeared in court.
Officers were called to an incident at the newsagents in Market Street at around 8.35pm on Friday July 11 in which a small amount of cash and cigarettes were stolen.
Adam Osborne, 20, of no fixed address, was charged with robbery, remanded in custody and appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court today.
Osborne, who was wearing a black t-shirt, had short brown hair, a beard and tattoos on his neck.
He spoke only to confirm his name and details during the short hearing.
The matter was formally sent to Norwich Crown Court on August 11.
Osborne has not entered a plea although it was indicated the case might be suitable for the early guilty plea scheme.
He was remanded in custody until the next hearing on August 11.
