A man was taken to hospital this afternoon following an incident in a south Norfolk town.
Police, paramedics and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were called to a property in Harleston at about 1pm today as a result of concerns for the welfare of a man inside.
A spokesman for Norfolk Police said the man was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital following a “self harm” incident. The state of the man’s injuries is not yet known.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said they were called to a reported cardiac arrest at 12.50pm and sent an ambulance, rapid response vehicle and community first responder. However, the man was taken to hospital by the air ambulance.
A police car and crime scene investigation vehicle were at the property in Mendham Lane this afternoon.
