A man has been jailed for more than three years for drug dealing in Great Yarmouth.
Junior Cleverly, aged 20 and from Southampton, was arrested for possession of cannabis when officers swooped on an address in Ordnance Road in Great Yarmouth on Thursday January 26, 2017.
However, once in custody, officers found Cleverly to be in possession of more than 50 wraps of Class A drugs, namely crack cocaine and heroin.
Cleverly, appeared at Norwich Crown Court today (Wednesday September 26) where he admitted being in possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply and possession of a cannabis.
He was sentenced to 38 months in prison.
Sgt Tony Hogan said: “Officers in Great Yarmouth have been working hard to disrupt Class A drug dealing in the town and I hope today’s sentencing reassures the local community that those who are found breaking the law will receive custodial sentences to ensure they cannot continue committing these offences.”
