Man from Essex charged over supply of Class A drugs in Norwich

A man has appeared in court in connection with supplying Class A drugs in Norwich.

Police attended an address in Albert Place at approximately 2pm on Wednesday and seized a quantity of Class A drugs and cannabis.

Arbab Yusuf, 18, from Rainham, Essex, has been charged with two counts of possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply (namely heroin and crack cocaine) and one count of possession of cannabis.

He appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court on Thursday, September 28 via videolink from Wymondham Police Investigation Centre.

He admitted possession of cannabis but gave no indication of plea to the two counts of possession of Class A drugs.

The case was formally sent to Norwich Crown Court on October 26.

Yusuf was remanded in custody until the next hearing.
