Police are appealing for witnesses following a late night high street assault.
At some point between 11pm on Saturday, March 3, and 1.50am on Sunday, March 4, a 22-year-old man was assaulted by what is believed to have been three unknown males on High Street in Lowestoft.
As a result of the assault, the victim - from Halesworth - sustained multiple fractures to his jaw. He was later taken to the James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston for treatment by paramedics.
Suffolk Constabulary would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or anyone who saw or spoke to the victim while he had been walking between St Peter's Street, High Street and The Triangle Yard area of the town during the times stated.
