A “chubby” man wearing a Puffa jacket and denim shorts exposed himself to a woman as she walked her dog in Sutton Heath woods.

Police are trying to a man - described as white, in his late 40s to early 50s, of chubby build, balding with short dark hair at the sides, unshaven and who was wearing glasses, a black Puffa-style jacket and denim shorts – after he exposed himself to a 26-year-old woman on Tuesday.

The woman was walking her dog in the middle of Sutton Heath woods, off the B1083, around 5.30pm when she saw the man sitting on a resting post. He called out to her as she walked past and when she turned around, she saw that he was indecently exposing himself.

The woman left and police were contacted a short time later.

The man is thought to have been around 500 metres from the Sutton car park at the time of the incident.

Were you in the area around this time or do you recognise the description of the man involved?

Anyone with information about the incident or the offender is asked to call PC Benjamin Throssell by dialling 101, quoting reference WO/14/404.
