Man charged in connection with Thetford stabbing

A man has been charged in connection with a stabbing in Thetford.

The incident happened at around 10.15pm on Friday when a man suffered a stab wound following the assault on Croxton Road.

Stuart Elliott, 49. of Harriet Martineau Close, Thetford, has been charged with causing racially aggravated grievous bodily harm.

The victim is recovering in hospital from his injury, which is not thought to be life-threatening.

Elliott has been remanded in police custody and will appear before Norwich Magistrates Court on Monday.
