Twelve large cannabis plants were seized from a house in Horsford after police carried out a drugs warrant.
Officers forced entry to an address on Holt Road shortly after 6pm on Sunday and discovered the plants, cultivating equipment and a quantity of harvested herbal cannabis in the bedroom and loft area.
A 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and was taken to Aylsham Police Investigation Centre for questioning. He admitted growing the plants and was given a formal police caution. Police executed the warrant after receiving information from members of the public.
PC Andy Dye said: 'Illegal drug activity will not be tolerated in our community and I would like to reassure residents that information passed to police will be dealt with appropriately and acted on.'
