A 40-year-old man has been arrested in Norwich as part of an investigation into suspected funding of terrorism, Scotland Yard said.
The man was arrested at an address in the city on Wednesday on suspicion of entering a terrorist-funding arrangement.
He was taken to a south London police station where he remains in custody, the Metropolitan Police said.
Officers have carried out searches at three addresses in the Norwich area, which are now complete, and inquiries continue.
The arrest was made as part of an investigation into suspected funding of terrorism which is being led by the Met's Counter Terrorism Command, and supported by the Eastern Region Special Operations Unit and Counter Terror Policing (ERSOU & CTP).
