A man was arrested after the match between Norwich City and Manchester United ended at Carrow Road.

The incident happened not long after the final whistle as supporters flooded out of the Jarrold Stand.

An off-duty police officer and other officers restrained a hooded man who allegedly made threats to another man.

Eyewitnesses said the man had a knife which fell to the floor when he was restrained.

No one was hurt in the incident.

A police spokeswoman said a suspect was in custody at Wymondham Police Investigation Centre where he will be questioned.
