A man and a woman arrested in connection with an incident at Tesco on the outskirts of Norwich had a hearing at Norwich Crown Court.

Justin Hunt, 36, of Westwick Street, and Carmen Dye, 45, of Bull Close Road, who appeared via a video link, are both charged with affray following the incident at the Harford Bridges branch of Tesco earlier this month.

They are also charged with theft of food and drink worth £291 from the store.

Hunt also faces a further count of theft from Sainsbury’s in Norwich, on June 4, when he is accused of stealing products worth £100.

Dye also faces a further charge in relation to the theft of a mobile phone in Norwich, on June 25.

No pleas were entered and their case has been adjourned until August 27 for a further hearing.
