A man has admitted a knife-point robbery at a Norwich store.
Kevin Laskey, 56, was accused of robbing the Earlham Shopper, Earlham West Centre, of £200.
Laskey, of Beecheno Road, Norwich, appeared at Norwich Crown Court yesterday where he pleaded guilty to robbery on January 20 this year.
Judge Nicholas Coleman adjourned sentence until May 27 so an updated psychiatric report can be completed.
Laskey, who spoke only to enter his plea and was wearing a grey jumper with blue stripes, dark trousers and has grey hair, will return to a secure unit in Essex, where he is being held, until he is sentenced.
The robbery was the second at the store in just a few days. Earlier this month Darryl Hindley, 20, of no fixed abode but formerly of Beecheno Road, was sentenced to three years after he admitted the robbery at the store on January 9 during which he threatened a member of staff.
