A 21-year-old man has been charged in connection with a burglary that took place in Lowestoft.

Property in Hillcrest Drive was allegedly broken into with items including cash, jewellery, old coins, a laptop and a carriage clock stolen from inside.

Officers investigating the burglary arrested Zak Adams, of Bridge Road, Oulton Broad, on Sunday, September 16 and he was taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

A police spokesman said: “Adams was subsequently charged with burglary the following day and was remanded in custody.”
