Lost drugs could “prove harmful” in the wrong hands, police in Great Yarmouth have warned

A potentially “harmful” amount of morphine has gone missing in Great Yarmouth.
Officers in the Yarmouth area are appealing for help to trace a quantity of the prescription drugs which was lost in the town. Norfolk police said the ten vials of morphine and vial of Oramorph “could prove harmful in the wrong hands”.
The morphine was contained in a grey cloth pouch, while the Oramorph was in an orange cloth pouch.
They were misplaced between 6am and 6.30am on Thursday, February 6 in the Northgate Street area of Yarmouth. The matter was reported to police this morning.
Anyone who finds the vials should contact police on 101 or take the items to the nearest police station.
