John Monk and nephew Lee Monk appear in court charged with murder of Nick Rogers after attack on Nick Rogers at Wymondham Morrisons

An uncle and nephew have appeared in court charged with the murder of 26-year-old Nick Rogers in a supermarket fight in Wymondham.
John Monk, 43, of Albini Way, and his nephew Lee Monk, 19, of Silfield Road, both of Wymondham, are charged with the murder of Nick Rogers on July 18 as well as affray on July 17.

Both charges relate to an incident in the Morrisons supermarket around 8pm on Monday.
Appearing at Norwich Magistrates Court via video link from Wymondham PIC, the pair, both wearing dark t-shirts, were remanded back into custody.

The public gallery was packed with friends and family of the Monks, some in tears as the charges were read out.
Both men will reappear at Norwich Crown Court tomorrow (Friday July 21).

No further action will be taken against three other people arrested in connection with the incident, an 18 year-old woman and two men aged 41 and 42.
A Home Office post mortem was held on Wednesday afternoon; however further tests are required before a cause of death is given.
