A laptop, camera and items of jewellery were among items stolen when a home in Watton was burgled yesterday.

Police said thieves struck in Norwich Road sometime between 5pm and 9.30pm on Wednesday December 5.

They broke in through a back door, carried out a search and stole items including a black Sony Vio laptop, a 3D Sony Blue Ray DVD player, a Sony Vio cyber-shot camera and jewellery including necklaces, a Gucci watch, a pair of gold stud earrings and a white gold and diamond band.

Detectives would like to hear from anyone who may have spotted any suspicious behaviour in the area or been offered such items for sale in suspicious circumstances.

Witnesses are asked to contact Det Con Gill Lacey at Norfolk Constabulary on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

  • i hope they get these scumbags quickly before the items get sold on for a pittance,they should bring back public flogging this would make the scum think about working for a living instead of easy pickings,
