Inquest opened into woman murdered in Norwich

An inquest has been opened into the death of a woman who was murdered in Norwich.
Police officers were called shortly before 2.30pm on Saturday, July 29, following reports of safety concerns for a woman at a flat in Godric Place, off Bowthorpe Road.
Upon arrival, the body of 49-year-old Farnaz Ali was found.
An inquest into her death was opened at Norwich Coroner’s Court on Wednesday (November 8) with a review due to be held into her death on February 28 next year.
The death is currently subject to an ongoing case at Norwich Crown Court.
A murder investigation was launched following the death and Danny Robert Williams, 26, of Godric Place, was subsequently charged with murder.
No pleas have yet been entered but Williams is due to appear at Norwich Crown Court on December 4 for a plea and trial preparation hearing (PTPH).
