A festival-goer in Hunstanton was injured when the portable toilet cubicle he was in was pushed over with the door landing on the ground, trapping him inside.

The un-named victim was attending the Lifestyles event over the Diamond Jubilee weekend when the incident took place.

Officers from Hunstanton are now appealing for information in relation to the assault at the Recreation Ground on King’s Lynn Road.

The male victim was staying at the campsite set up for Lifestyles when he went to the toilet at around 2am on Saturday, June 2. He entered a cubicle on site and after a moment felt the structure being pushed. It fell over onto the door, trapping the man who suffered minor whiplash and a sore shoulder from the incident.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious in the early hours of Saturday, June 2, or from anyone with information in relation to the incident.
