David Jay, 42, formerly of California Cliffs, Hemsby, pleaded guilty to importing a prohibited, indecent or obscene article on July 17, last year, when he appeared at Norwich Crown Court.

His case was adjourned by Judge Katharine Moore for pre-sentence reports but she warned him that all options would be open to the court, including custody.

She told Jay: “It is not possible to deal with your case today.”

She said when he returned for sentence he would get credit for his prompt guilty plea.

She gave Jay conditional bail and one of the conditions is that he does not have any unsupervised contact with any child under 16.

His case was adjourned until November 20.

Jonathan Goodman appeared for the defence.
