Police are seeking witnesses after two burglaries and an attempted burglary in Carlton Colville.

The three incidents happened yesterday (Tuesday, April 1), and are being linked by officers.

A purple HP 15.6-inch laptop in a black laptop bag with memory card and charger and a black faux leather shoulder bag with gold studs and crocodile skin detail were stolen after a house was broken into in Anchor Way between 4.10pm and 9.15pm yesterday. Someone broke in via a window at the back of the home and stole the items.

Money, two Gucci watches and jewellery were stolen from a home in Killick Crescent between 6.30pm and midnight last night. Again the property was broken into via the back of the house, searched and the items were taken.

Officers would like to speak with two men that were seen in the area – one is described as being skinny, about 6ft tall, the other of ‘chunky’ build. Both wore hooded tops.

The attempted burglary took place in Rushton Drive about 8pm to 8.10pm yesterday. A neighbour heard glass being smashed in a rear patio door and, having been disturbed, the offender or offenders left without breaking into the property.

■ If you recognise the description of these men, saw anything suspicious in these areas around these times, or if you have any information relating to these crimes, please call Det Con Mark Hedges at Lowestoft CID on 101.
