Great Yarmouth burglars kick door off hinges

Burglars scaled the fence of a Great Yarmouth home before raiding the property of jewellery.

The incident happened on Thursday, January 24 at some point between 2.45pm and 3.20pm at a property in Wellesley Road.

While the oocupants were out the offenders climbed over a side fence to gain access to the rear yard and then broken into the rear of the property.

A rear UPVC door was found open and a window also open.

An internal wooden door between the kitchen and bathroom locked by a yale lock had been kicked off its hinges.

A quantity of male jewellery and a grey granite oil burner were taken in the burglary.
