A teenager is due in court charged with robbery after an incident at a Gorleston betting shop over the weekend.
A man entered the Coral bookmakers in Magdalen Way at around 9.30pm on Saturday, demanded money and allegedly threatened staff with a knife before making off with cash.
Joel Ford, of Magdalen Way, was arrested a short time later and was taken into custody where he was interviewed by detectives.
The 18 year old was subsequently charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, and has been detained in custody to appear at Great Yarmouth Magistrates’ Court this morning (Monday).
Police in Norwich have launched an investigation after a woman claimed in a tweet she had knocked a cyclist off their bike.
